Poem: Heartbeat

Heart beats fast
Like a drum
As thoughts of you
Peek in my mind

My heart dances
My heart sings
My heart flutters
Like the wind

My heart soars
My heart explodes
My heart melts
And turns to gold

My heart beats
For you so true
My heart's always
Linked to you

Forever and always
My heartbeat will race
Whenever I picture
Your mysterious face

And whenever I'll swim
In your words so heartfelt
I will drown in bliss
And my heart's gonna melt

And the smile on my face
Will no longer be fake
For the joy that you bring
Makes all grief fade away
