Poem: No Place To Go

I gotta leave this place behind
But then I’ve got no place to go 
It’s weighing heavy on my mind 
My lonely heart tormented so 

At first he vanished without warning
And now this place I must depart 
And here I am this cloudy morning
Unsure of what will be my start 

I’m far away from my own kind 

This place I’ve known no longer mine 

The comfort felt I must abandon

Not knowing what will come with time
