Poem: What Will You Do?

If I tell you NO
Will you obey?
Or will you push further?
Force me to do something
I am not ready to do.

Will you wait till I say YES?
Or will you leave
And find another,
Who will always obey,
Who will always say YES?

Song Lyric: You or Kin

Sometimes you wanna meet
But I can't 'cause I'm beat
For that you're understanding
But when I have to be
Close to my family
You say that I'm uncaring

If you ask me to choose
My family or you
Here's what I'm gonna do
I'm choosing them over you

Sometimes I must attend
My family's events
For that you don't support me
And when I fill you in
On importance of my kin
You say that I desert thee

If you ask me to choose
My family or you
Here's what I'm gonna do
I'm choosing them over you

You've got no close kin of your own
So you don't get where I'm coming from
And if you don't want to be with me
'Cause sometimes I leave you for my family
Then so be it
Then so be it
Then so be it

If you ask me to choose
My family or you
Here's what I'm gonna do
I'm choosing them over you

Song Lyric: Dangerous to Know

Kids are playing in the park
Left behind in the dark
'Cause their brothers are gone
Somewhere else having fun
Whether sniffing or smoking
Whether drinking or joking
They're forgetting the fact
They're breaking the pact

Their brothers are no-shows
And that's dangerous
And that's dangerous
Dangerous to know

Kids are stranded near the school
Waiting for their brothers who
Forgot to pick the up
Every day it don't stop
No matter what their plans
They're breaking the hands
They're forgetting the truth
They're the role model youth

Their brothers are no-shows
And that's dangerous
And that's dangerous
Dangerous to know

Today kids look up to their brothers
Even the unfortunate others
Who're left alone on the street
Not knowing whom they will meet
Or what will be their fate
If they're forgotten and wait

Their brothers are no-shows
And that's dangerous
And that's dangerous
Dangerous to know

Song Lyric: If You Turned Me Down

You came out of the blue
What am I supposed to do
It is all so unexpected
What if I get rejected
By you

Don't think I could stand it
If you turned me down
Try to understand it
I'll probably drown
In my own misery
If you turn away from me

You're like a birthday wish
Like a tasty authentic dish
Something I expected
I just feel so connected
To you

Don't think I could stand it
If you turned me down
Try to understand it
I'll probably drown
In my own misery
If you turn away from me

Don't know how you appeared
But my sorrow disappeared
I long to see your pic
Your voice it makes it tic
Inside

Don't think I could stand it
If you turned me down
Try to understand it
I'll probably drown
In my own misery
If you turn away from me

With you I can talk for hours
Like the bloom of flowers
With time just passing by
You make me wanna fly
So high

Don't think I could stand it
If you turned me down
Try to understand it
I'll probably drown
In my own misery
If you turn away from me

So don't turn away from me please...

Song Lyric: Shooting Star

Night all around me
And you surround me
Your presence beside me
This feeling inside me
Remains so strong
The day is so long

In the dark lit sky
I see something fly
Like a shooting star
Somewhere deep and far
The dots seem to connect
And I see their effect
A face of you drawn in white
On this beautiful night

Stars lit like gold
A tale to unfold
Before my very eyes
There is no surprise
You're by my side
Morning, noon, and night

In the dark lit sky
I see something fly
Like a shooting star
Somewhere deep and far
The dots seem to connect
And I see their effect
A face of you drawn in white
On this beautiful night

No matter where I go
I feel you near me so
I don't have to be scared
I know you're prepared
To save me in time of need

In the dark lit sky
I see something fly
Like a shooting star
Somewhere deep and far
The dots seem to connect
And I see their effect
A face of you drawn in white
On this beautiful night

In the dark lit sky
I see something fly
Somewhere deep and far
You're my shooting star

Poem: Shadow

I am but a shadow
Invisible to the passing eye
Of those who know me
Those who lay eyes on me
But to a wandering stranger
I am an actual being
Roaming this universe
I am a living, breathing creature
In need of attention
In need of comfort
In need of support
In need of everything
That my people never give

Poem: Passionate Words

Your passionate words imprint on my heart
And touch me so deeply right from the start
They sprinkle their magic while melting my soul
With romance and love that forever does grow
They quicken my heartbeat and I drown in bliss
I feel like a princess swept away by her prince
So thanks for the honor of being your muse
Now I feel extra special that me you did choose
We'll forever be linked by sweet words of your art
Written there in the stars in my dreams in my heart

Poem: Lost In The Moment

Soft whisper in the wind
The day of hidden clouds
Just the weightless flow of tranquility
